Why we built this
Every homeowner has been through it: your heater dies on a January Tuesday, you Google "HVAC near me," and get five pages of Angi promotions, Yelp results padded with sponsored ads, and directories that clearly haven't been touched since 2019.
We wanted a simpler thing: a straightforward list of real home service businesses in Cleveland and Akron, showing real Google ratings and real phone numbers, without an inch of pay-to-play in the middle. When you find a pro here, you call them directly. No lead fees, no middleman, no bait-and-switch.
Who runs this
I'm an automation engineer who's spent the last few years building tools for home service businesses · booking systems, review responders, AI voice receptionists. This directory started as a side project to help a few Cleveland roofers I know show up higher in local search. It grew. Now I run it as a straightforward free listing service, funded by an optional $299/yr Premium tier for pros who want featured placement.

How listings get on the site
- 1We start from public Google Business Profile data. · Businesses with a public GBP in Cleveland/Akron and one of our four categories get imported.
- 2We text the business owner a verify link. · Owners can confirm their info, add a website, hours, and services. Or reply STOP to be removed.
- 3Verified businesses get the green badge. · Homeowners see which listings the owner actually confirmed. Unverified listings still show, but without the badge.
Not a lead broker
We don't sell leads. We don't take commission when you hire someone. Homeowners contact businesses directly through the listing. Business owners pay us nothing unless they choose to upgrade to Premium for featured placement.
